A truly one of a kind project completed it 2016. The Kapushion family has a long history in Crested Butte. They homesteaded the land and built their home on it in the 1890s.  We had the honor of restoring this historic home and blending it with new additions to better serve current needs. The original portion of the home is a log cabin which we stripped of various layers of siding and stucco to restore the original logs beneath. Much to our surprise, the majority were in great shape and able to be exposed as the exterior finish.   The home now features 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths with a detached garage. The kitchen combines custom built, cherry cabinets with Wolf/ Sub Zero appliances.   Reclaimed, oak flooring was added to maintain a mountain, rustic feel as well as handmade iron work throughout.
